Microsoft’s stance on pre-owned games and game ownership with Xbox One has been more than a little confusing, however it appears that pre-owned games are not dead, but there are some catches involved.

Well so much for that.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. We let the game industry get away with so much that we wouldn’t put up with in any other industry. Imagine if you had to pay a fee to get behind the wheel of a friend’s car? That if you bought a car used, that certain features like the headlights were disabled until you bought a 26 digit code to input to prove you didn’t steal the car. And after 3 years they just stopped supporting anything in your car.
